3. What data we collect
- Name and email address, when you contact us or sign up for our newsletter.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type and visited pages, via Google Analytics, only after you accept cookies.
- Marketing data via the Meta Pixel, such as page views and clicks on the ticket button, only after you accept cookies.
- Event photography and video: recordings made at Hey Desi events may include recognisable individuals.
4. Tickets
Tickets for HEY DESI at Melkweg are sold by Melkweg through Ticketmaster. Your purchase and payment are handled by them under their own privacy statements; we do not receive your payment details.
5. Why we collect it
- To answer your questions and send the newsletter you asked for.
- To measure which of our ads and pages lead to ticket clicks.
- To improve our website and marketing.
- To document and promote Hey Desi events.
6. Legal basis
Consent (newsletter, analytics and marketing cookies) and legitimate interest (event documentation, promotion and brand development).
7. Sharing data
We share data only with service providers that help us run our website and events: Google (analytics), Meta Platforms (advertising and insights), Sender (newsletter) and Cloudflare (hosting and spam protection of the newsletter form). We never sell or rent your data.
8. Data retention
- Analytics data: anonymised after 14 months.
- Newsletter subscriptions: kept until you unsubscribe.
- Event media: kept as long as relevant for promotional and archival purposes, unless a valid objection is submitted.
9. Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, correct or delete it, withdraw consent, request data transfer or object to processing. Contact info@heydesi.eu. You may also contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
